As Marketing Coordinator, my main focus was print and digital campaign concepts, assisting with the design and copy of high-quality marketing assets for the Yoga Journal brand, as well as client brands. I worked closely with the sales team, Art Director, Photo and Video Director, and graphic designers to bridge the gap between campaign ideation and execution.

Yoga Journal Magazine: Spring 2019 Print Copy

New Chapter: Print and Digital Campaign

Yoga Journal had the privilege to produce a successful campaign for New Chapter's newest product, Every Woman™'s One Daily Multivitamin. I led concept ideation, wrote and designed the RFP deck, assisted on all photo/video shoots, and wrote on-video copy for all three branded videos. Additionally, I worked with our designer to define and brand all print and digital assets.

 

YJ's Brand Director and I crafted a theme and scouted the perfect influencer, Irene Pappas, for this 3-part print and digital campaign. We knew the theme would be centered around strength, flexibility, and starting a new chapter in life. At the time, Irene was an influential yoga instructor and contortionist (boasting over 1M social media followers) who had just moved to Boulder, CO, to start a new chapter of her life! Perfect fit.

DTC Commerce: Print Marketing

As one of the main contacts for our sales team, I not only worked with our sales reps, but often directly with clients to craft branded content—helping write unique brand copy that appealed to the Yoga Journal audience.

Yoga Journal Magazine: Holiday Gift Guide 2018 Print Copy

Aethics: 2-part Digital Campaign

Aethics was an unfamiliar brand to the Yoga Journal audience so we knew we wanted to create a compelling digital campaign that incorporated CBD, mindfulness, and yoga. Enter the campaign theme: a mind-body connection. I interviewed and wrote copy for the blog post as well as the branded email blast.

 

Olivia Hsu (with around 18K followers) was at the top of my mind to be the influencer of this campaign, as she is a devoted ashtanga instructor and practitioner as well as a professional climber (sponsored by PrAna). Since Olivia is a Boulderite, the Photo and Video Director and I hosted a local photoshoot in Boulder Canyon highlighting Olivia's strength and ease with climbing. This resulted in a successful email campaign with additional blog post that helped the audience understand Olivia's view on using CBD to enhance her athletic performance through mind-body connection.
